Thank you for your interest in Georgia Aquarium. As a non-profit organization dependent on the community, we must honor and respect our donors and partners by carefully evaluating and filling requests as we have the resources to do so. Due to the large number of requests we receive we may not be able to fulfill your request at this time, but we will notify you by email and encourage you to apply again in the future.

Applications submitted January 1, 2026 or later must meet the following criteria:

·         Eligible groups/ events for donations-

o   School Fundraisers

o   Animal related events and fundraisers

o   Conservation focused missions

o   Community fundraisers for local:

§  Hospitals

§  Volunteer fire and EMT departments

§  Domestic abuse and support

§  Summer reading programs through local libraries

·         Not Eligible-

o   Music and sports programs

o   Political Fundraisers

o   Church Fundraisers or events

o   Social or fraternal organizations

o   Giveaways without a fund-raising component

Due to the large volume of requests we receive, we can only consider requests from non-profit, educational, cultural or children’s organizations located in the state of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida. Donation requests for individuals will not be accepted. 

Requests for support must be received three months prior to event date. Limit one fulfillment per year.

We receive hundreds of requests each month and do our best to respond to them in a timely manner, typically this is done 4-6 weeks prior to your event date. The organization requesting the donation will be contacted by email, regardless of whether or not the request is approved. Should we be able to fulfill your request, you will receive by email two anytime general admission tickets to Georgia Aquarium and a dispaly only certificate.
